Terminator
Training (Outside
Registration)
Steve Beeler and Brian Payne will be
hosting four sessions focused on training the left and right
side attacker. These sessions will train footwork for
transitions, various attack approaches, the arm swing,
defense and passing for the left side hitter. These
sessions are open to all COA players. All 4 sessions
will begin at 7 on the following dates and will cost $40 for
all four sessions.

Monsters in the
Middle (Middle
Registration)
Jim Bertoli will be hosting four training
sessions focused on just the middle blocker positions.
These sessions will be focused on blocking, movement
training, transitions to attack, and eye sequencing.
These sessions are open to all COA players but training will
be geared more toward players with some experience with
transitioning (13 and up). All 4 sessions will begin
at 7 on the following dates and will cost $40 for all four
sessions.

The Setter Academy (Setter
Registration)
Jim Bertoli, former D1 coach, will be
hosting the 2008 Setter Academy as part of the 2008 COA
season. Four, 2 hour sessions focused on setter
training. The cost of the Setter Academy is $40 total
for all four sessions. These sessions will focus on
skills specific to the setting position. They will
include both technical and tactical training for all COA
setters. These sessions are open to any COA player
that is either a setter on their COA team or anyone that
will be a setter on their school team. It is a great
opportunity to learn from one of the best coaches in the
area and improve your knowledge of the setting position.
All sessions begin at 7 to allow all setters in the club to
participate even if they have practice or a tourney the day
of the Academy.
